Arizona RB considers ISU visit

The Cyclone coaching staff is in the process of setting up an unofficial visit with a new running back offer from the southwest, who is coming off a standout junior season.

Peoria (Ariz.) Centennial Class of 2018 prospect Zidane Thomas picked up his first and only offer from the Cyclones back on March 6th, and has heard frequently from them since.

The 5-foot-10, 205-pound Thomas was a workhorse for Centennial in 2016, leading the state with 2,329 rushing yards and 22 touchdowns. He was also a catalyst to his team’s run to the Class 5A championship game.

The next step is for Thomas to take a trip to Ames. Since this will be his first trip to I-State, Thomas said he has a list of things he’d like to see during his time there.

For more on Thomas' recruitment and how the Cyclones up at this stage of the process, check out a more-detailed story on the ISU Confidential message board.
