Another Montgomery for I-State?

The Cyclones made a move for a three-star running back from the state of Ohio last week, offering the prospect after a pair of assistant coaches visited his school.

Franklin Class of 2018 rusher Ryan Montgomery, who was offered last week, said he’s earned praise from the coaching staff for the way he plays and fit he could be in the system.

The 5-foot-11, 185-pound Montgomery, who is the 44th-ranked player overall in the state of Ohio for 2018, said he’s started researching the Cyclones even more since last week.

The offer from the Cyclones is the third Power-5 one for Montgomery, as he also has Kentucky and Purdue in the hunt. He also claims G5 offers from Cincinnati, Miami (Ohio) and Toledo.
