3-star LB appreciates I-State attention

The Cyclones are working on getting a three-star Class of 2018 linebacker from the state of Ohio on campus in the next few months.

Dublin Coffman junior Jeslord Boateng said he’s being looked at as a versatile playmaker the Cyclones love having in their defense.

The 6-foot-2, 200-pound linebacker, who was offered by the Cyclones in December, also has Power-5 offers from Indiana, Kentucky and Louisville, to go along with several in the G5 ranks.

The Class of 2018 defender would now like to see it all for himself during an unofficial visit to Ames.

For more on Boateng's recruitment and how the Cyclones up at this stage of the process, check out a more-detailed story on the ISU Confidential message board.
