2019 DL contemplating 2nd ISU visit

The Cyclones continue to compete with a number of Power-5 programs from around the Midwest for a three-star defensive end in the Class of 2019.

Momence junior Jason Bargy was in town during the summer while the Cyclones hosted a Saturday Night Lights camp, and said he’s tracked the team’s progress in the time since.

The 6-foot-5, 231-pound Class of 2019 prospect is being recruited by ISU assistant Eli Rasheed, who was the one who originally extended him an offer back in March.

In addition to the Cyclones, Bargy has P5 offers from Illinois, Iowa, Michigan State, Minnesota, Notre Dame and Purdue.

For more on Bargy's recruitment and how the Cyclones stack up at this stage of the process, check out a more-detailed story on the ISU Confidential message board.
