2019 ATH plans Iowa State visit

Iowa State assistant coach D.K. McDonald recently offered a St. Louis (Mo.) area athlete that will likely move to the defensive side of the ball at the next level.

O’Fallon John Burroughs School standout Derrick Miller said he received the news after one of Iowa State’s assistant coaches evaluated him at school.

In addition to the one he received from I-State, Miller has offers from Iowa, Indiana State and Southeast Missouri State.

Miller said he has reached out to the Cyclones since his offer, saying he plans to make a visit to Ames in the near future.

For more on Miller's recruitment and how the Cyclones stack up at this stage of the process, check out a more-detailed story on the ISU Confidential message board.
