2018 in-state ATH visits Iowa State

Iowa State is at the forefront of a Class of 2018 in-state prospect's recruitment very early in the process, recently offering a scholarship and hosting the high school sophomore on an unofficial visit.

Sioux City Heelan athlete Saybein Clark put up big numbers as a high school sophomore, rushing for more than 1,600 yards and 19 touchdowns in Iowa’s biggest class, put himself on the radar of ISU’s new coaching staff quickly.

Area recruiter and defensive coordinator Jon Heacock watched the 6-foot-1, 195-pound Clark early in the spring evaluation period, liked what he saw and offered a scholarship.

For more on Clark's recruitment and how ISU stacks up at this stage of the process, check out a more-detailed story on the ISU Confidential message board.
