2018 Fla. DE talks Cyclone offer

Iowa State recently offered a Class of 2018 defensive end from south Florida who currently has multiple Power-5 offers.

Hollywood Chaminade Madonna junior Davoan Hawkins said the recruiting process began with a message from his head coach Dameon Jones.

The 6-foot-4, 252-pound Hawkins also has FBS offers from the likes of Charlotte, Cincinnati, Florida Atlantic, Florida International, Illinois, North Carolina, North Carolina State, Syracuse and West Virginia.

As a junior at Chaminade Madonna, Hawkins racked up 61 tackles, including 22 tackles-for-loss and 14 sacks from his defensive end position.
