2018 4-star WR considers ISU visit

Iowa State is making it a priority to recruit a four-star wide receiver from the Lone Star State after offering the Class of 2018 prospect a scholarship last week.

Houston Cy-Creek's Miles Battle sold the Cyclones on offering him largely based on what he showed during spring practice and summer workouts. A four-star prospect that's ranked 46th at his position nationally and top-250 overall nationally, Battle also has offers from Michigan State, Arizona State, Colorado, Houston, Tulane and SMU.

Battle said he would like to make the trek to Ames sometime this fall, and looks forward to scheduling something soon when coaches can have more contact with recruits.

For more on Battle's recruitment and how ISU stacks up at this stage of the process, check out a more-detailed story on the ISU Confidential message board.
