1-on-1 with new commit C. Bailey
The LEO linebacker will be a vital spot in Matt Campbell defenses at Iowa State, and the staff lined up a solid prospect at that position on Thursday night.
Clarksdale (Miss.) three-star LEO linebacker Cordarrius Bailey, who has a Rivals rating of 5.7, announced via social media his future intentions.
In addition to the Cyclones, the 6-foot-3, 207-pound Bailey also had Power-5 offers from Louisville and Mississippi State to go along with a host of others at the FBS level.
The fact the Cyclones were able to land a three-star such as Bailey without having stepped foot on campus is also encouraging for a coaching staff in its first year on the job in Ames. Bailey will finally get the chance to visit the weekend of September 24th for the San Jose State game.
