October 25, 2009 In an impromptu celebration reminiscent of an era gone by in college athletics, a crowd of approximately 1,000 Iowa State fans welcomed the Cyclones back to Ames after ISU's 9-7 victory at Nebraska on Saturday.Iowa State officials opened the Bergstrom Indoor Training Facility to fans as a steady rain doused the faithful that had been congregating throughout the evening to wait for the ISU busses to arrive back on campus.
