Prior to the start of the 2007-08 basketball season, many wondered where sophomore guard Jon Scheyer would fit into the lineup this season. Outsiders felt as though it was a no-brainer to leave the 6-foot-5, 180 pounder in the starting rotation.

After all, he did start 32-of-33 games and was selected to the ACC All-Freshman Team after averaging 12.2 points, 3.3 rebounds and 1.9 assists per game.
