KU's stay atop the polls short

JayhawkSlant.com KU's run atop the college basketball polls was short, but certainly wasn't sweet. The Jayhawks, playing in-front of a national audience, were dominated by in-state rival Kansas State, 84-68. Kansas, which dropped to 24-2 and 9-2 in conference play, pulled to within five points twice in the second half, but simply had no answer for Jacob Pullen, who scored a career-high 38 points. With the loss behind them, the Jayhawks will now turn their attention to Colorado.
